Inaugural Message
Tigstu Birhanu - Executive Director

Tigstu Birhanu

Executive Director

It is with great pleasure that we announce the official launch of the Focus and Effort for National Affairs Charity Organization (FENA) website.

This platform marks an important milestone in our efforts to promote transparency, strengthen civic engagement, and expand access to information—particularly on issues related to Freedom of Association and Assembly (FoAA), under which this initiative was supported.

At the same time, the website reflects FENA’s broader commitment to advancing cross-cutting development priorities. Our work spans human rights, good governance, civic engagement, climate and biodiversity conservation, and the empowerment of women and youth, with the aim of fostering a just, inclusive, and resilient society.

"The development of this website has been made possible with the financial and technical support of CIVICUS under the Crisis Response Fund. We extend our sincere appreciation for their continued partnership and commitment to strengthening civic space."

Through this platform, we aim to share knowledge, amplify community voices, and promote collaboration among civil society, government, and development partners. We invite all stakeholders to engage with us as we work toward a future where human dignity, environmental sustainability, and equitable opportunities are realized for all.
