Established in 2015, FENA began its journey as a regional charity in the former SNNPR. Our early years were dedicated to direct social support, building the community trust that remains our greatest asset today.
A pivotal turning point arrived with Ethiopia’s 2019 policy reforms. This shift empowered us to move into the vital space of rights-based advocacy. In 2020, we formally transitioned to a National Local Charity.
